per essere riassemblati, grazie ai due tasselli di rinforzo che verrano
affogati nell'impasto di resina e microsfere. |

to be merged. The two wooden reinforcement will be drowned in the mix of
microsferes and resin. |

ottenuti riciclando tavole ormai irreparabili. Opportunamente carteggiati.

Microsfere, resina e
catalizzatore. Indossate sempre mascherina e guanti mentre utilizzate queste
sostanze chimiche. Mescolate il tutto con un bastoncino di legno, tipo ghiacciolo,
e spalmate l'impasto con una spatola pulita. |

catalyst. Always wear a mask and gloves when you use this chemical substances.
Mix up with a wood stik and coat with a clean spatula. |

Si resina prima un lato,
poi quando è asciutto si fa l'altro. |
At first only one side,
than when it's dry the other one. |

Ora si preparano dei
rinforzi in tessuto da 6 once da laminare sul fondo sopra i tasselli, mentre
in coperta il rinforzo in tessuto sarà più esteso. |
Patches are made using
a 6 oz. tissue to laminate over reinforces, while on the deck the patch
will be larger. |

Spatoliamo la resina
(senza microsfere) sopra la toppa più grande, poi ripetiamo per
le più piccole che disponiamo a croce.
Asciugata la resina
la si carteggia, specialmente sui bordi della riparazione per far sparire
lo scalino.
A questo punto siamo
pronti per il "Finish", aggiungiamo paraffina liquida alla solita
resina e la spatoliamo (e spenneliamo nei punti più difficili),
una volta asciugato carteggiamo il finish ad acqua con carte via via più
fini. E voilà! |
Let's coat the resin
(with no microsferes) over the larger patch, then we repeat for the smaller
crossy applied.
Sand the dried resin,
especially on edges of the fixxing to hide the step made by the new resin.
Now we're ready to
put the "Finish", blending liquid paraffin wax to the usual
resin.
With a spatula (or
a brush in tricky spots) we coat and when it's dry we sand everything
with paper and water. Using thinnner and thinner paper. DONE! |
