Se dividessimo idealmente il monte Conero in due parti, lato nord e lato sud, non potremmo non considerare come spartiacque ideale o meglio lo spartivento fra di essi, i due faraglioni denominati : le due sorelle.

Numerose sono le spiaggette, spesso mal raggiungibili se non via mare, mentre le spiagge principali più adatte alla pratica di varie discipline si trovano agli estremi delle pendici : Portonovo a nord, Sassi Neri e Riviera del Conero a sud.

Oltre ad i venti termici e di perturbazione dai quadranti sud-orientali che interessano l'intera costa, si hanno sul versante meridionale venti termici da N/W e N/E.

If we could split the Conero mountain in two halfs, north and south sides, the two rocks knewed as "Le due Sorelle" should been considered as the border between. Many are the small beaches, mostly reachable by sea, while the main beaches (ideal for practising water sports) are located on the sides of the mountain : Portonovo upnorth, Sassi Neri and Riviera del Conero the southerns. In the south side is possible to enjoy the sea brezees from north and some rare storms.
