Personalmente
Ho scelto le misure 4.2 – 4.7 – 5.3 – 6.2 .
the north's sail "ice" is the “world cup” sail of the north sails range. It should mean that the sail is not made for a single spot, but works in a variety of different situation, and is quite true. Details have been study deeply, many are the innovations. Noscratch tissue around the foot mast, for easier rigging; the whole mast sleeve reinforced, the new pulleis. The sail seams to be tuff (we had a lot of thumble-shacking, trust it.)Stable and light both ripping or tricking, but even powerfull enough to plane early. Always under control in gusts, it's easy to ride backside thanks to the great handling and the reactivity. Freestyling too enjoy of the handling, the flipping and clewfirst control offered by this tool. If you are riding in a "storm", the mast will became a factor, the north's one is great while overpowered, while the skinny it's just good. I’ve
tried this sail both in South Africa and in summer's breeze in my spots
of Grosseto- Tuscany and i've been happily suprised. Using again the
old stuff won't be the same thing of before anymore. Kai Hopf and B. Dunkerbeck should have worked hard, but achiving their goal, realize a good product. |
