Off the Lip, One Hand

Da sinistra verso destra : GianMario esegue il bottom rimanendo molto verticale con il corpo, così nell'impatto con la cresta dell'onda è pronto a raccogliersi, evidenziando l'altezza della figura. Se la mano che resta sul boma è quella anteriore (come nella sequenza) la vela sventerà per un attimo, mentre se è la mano anteriore a lasciare il boma, sarà necessario portare la mano posteriore fra gli agganci delle cimette per controllare la vela in aria.

From Left to Right : GianMario makes the bottom turn keeping a vertical stance, so after hitting the lip he bends his legs to score a good smack to the lip. If is the back hand that leaves the boom the sail will loose power for a while, but if is the front hand that leaves the boom the back hand should be moved forward in the middle of the ropes to control the sail.
